Armor Electric is a family electrical business in Brea, California. When an advertising campaign worked, inbound calls spiked and electricians were taking calls in the middle of jobs. Nobody on the crew could act as a full-time receptionist, and the owners did not want to hire one.
They moved call answering to Smith.ai’s virtual receptionists. Per the case study, callers get their questions answered, their contact details are taken and the call or message is routed on. The owner receives a summary of every call, and the receptionists record where each caller came from, which the case study says showed him which ad channels were working.
The case study gives no figures. Its stated outcome is fewer missed calls and electricians staying on the job. This is the vendor’s own account.
